ContactCentres.be supports the RADIO 1212 initiative with 575 operators

Today, the French-speaking radio stations join forces and broadcast a common program in favour of victims of the earthquake in Haiti. This action is called Radio 1212. Tomorrow, Joe fm, Q-Music, MNM, Radio 2 and Studio Brussel will launch a similar action from 8 AM to 8 PM.

In order to support these actions, the Belgian Consortium for Urgency Situations was looking for a solution to handle the calls that these programs will hopefully bring about. 75 French-speaking operators were needed today and 500 Dutch-speaking operators tomorrow.

Martin Claes, new chairman of Contactcentres.be, has actively invited the members of the association to join in on a voluntary basis. The following members have already agreed: IP Globalnet, N-Allo/Brucall, SNT, SITEL, Mifratel, BNP Paribas Fortis, Belgacom, Telenet, Computer Profile, De Vlaamse Infolijn and Santander. Last information on the participating contact centers will be published on www.contactcentres.be. Whether you are a member of our association or not, you can still take part in the action. Please contact the project coordinator, Dirk Frans, per e-mail (dfrans@ipglobalnet.com).
IP Globalnet will sort and dispatch the calls to the participating contact centers. It’s quite a job already.
We wish all the participating teams good luck and congratulate them for their contribution. They can be rightly proud of them.
